Reminders
Just a few reminders for the week:
PE is on a
Tuesday afternoon - children can come to school in their PE kit. Please make sure they are wearing the correct kit.Earrings need to be removed by the child or before school, we are not allowed to help with this.
Homework has been set on edshed. There is a maths quiz and spelling games set to be completed every week. Children should know their logins and these have been sent home.

Please also ma
ke sure to be logging on to TT Rockstars. Playing the garage game will help you to learn your times tables. This is a valuable tool to help the children learn their times tables as well as prepare them for the Multiplication Tables Check they will be taking in June. The soundcheck game mimics the real test.

In Literacy we will be continuing to have a story focus. The text focus is Stig of the Dump. We will be watching the next episode and developing our describing skills.
In History we will be continuing to look at Celtic life and how elements are still around today.
In Science we will be conducting our experiment linked to changing states of matter using heat and freezing.
Forest School
Every Thursday one of the Year 4 classes visits Ghost Woods to experience Forest School. We walk there and get the chance to explore and have the freedom to choose our activities. The swing is a popular activity as is building a mud kitchen and making a range of items out of wood.
